The Clinical Supervision and Field Educator Training is a two-day workshop that prepares Field Educators to supervise Barry University School of Social Work Interns. The content includes the necessary policies, procedures and guidelines for BUSSW Field Interns. Tha training is also designed to meet the requirements of the Florida Licensing Board for becoming a qualified clinical supervisor. As such, additional content on specific clinical supervisory knowledge and strategies are presented.

 

This is a required training for those of you who desire to become a Barry University field educator. The training is designed to meet the requirements for 12 CEU’s for licensure maintenance for clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists and mental health counselors. The training is also designed to meet the educational requirements for Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) practitioners to become qualified supervisors for Registered Social Work Interns in the State of Florida.

 

We have TWO upcoming Trainings:

 

1) Thursday, October 5th and Friday, October 6th, 2017. The training will take place at Dillard 6-12 School, Recital Hall Room 218, 2501 NW 11th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, 8:30 am-5:00pm. 

 

 

2)Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th, 2017. The training will take place at Broward Health Medical Center, 1600 South Andrews Avenue,
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. 33316 in the Case Management office West Wing 3rd floor; 9:00am – 5:00pm.
