You’re invited to Barry University’s two-days of clinical supervision and field educator training. The focus of the training is to provide an overview of Supervision in preparation for Barry Social Work Student Interns and Registered Student Interns in the State of Florida.
Dates: Friday, January 23, 2015 & Saturday, January 24, 2015
Times: 8:30am-5:30pm
Location: Barry University’s Miami Shores Campus | Thompson Hall, Room 230
Lunch will be served for the training, and it offers 16 free CEU’s to current Barry University Field Educators. Additionally, the training meets the educational requirement that allows licensed Social Work practitioners (LCSW) to become state sanctioned “Qualified” Supervisors for Registered Social Work interns in Florida.
The training also offers contact hours for clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, and mental health counselors and general credit hours towards licensure maintenance.
Licensed Clinical Social Workers and all other Professionals (who are not currently Field Educators with the School of Social Work) are required to complete and submit the attached pre-registration form with the required payment of $200.00 by January 16, 2015.
