A Message From The Dean
We are delighted that you are interested in pursuing a degree in social
work at Barry University. Our School of Social Work offers a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree in social work.
We have an excellent curriculum which provides the highest quality of training for social work practice. Our international reputation brings students
from across the globe to experience one of the best programs in the country that is student-centered and located in a richly diverse community.
We are proud to announce that we are the only school in the country that has a comprehensive year-round accelerated program for BSW graduates and MSW
students. As a full time student in our MSW program you can earn your MSW in four semesters. This is eight months earlier than most graduate programs
across the country. You simply, begin in the fall and graduate the next fall! If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work you may qualify for
our Advanced Standing program. This will allow you to earn your Master’s Degree in Social Work in seven months of concentrated study. That is just
two semesters.
Sounds exciting? Absolutely. Complete your tour of our website and e-mail or call us. We want to be a part of your future.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Scott, Ph.D.
