Hugh G. Clark, Ph.D.

Hugh G. Clark, Ph.D., MSSW, currently serves as the Fort Myers site coordinator for the Barry University MSW program in Southwest Florida. He took that position after serving as executive director of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. A 25 year member of NASW, he holds the M.S.S.W. and Ph.D. in social work and has been licensed in Texas as an LMSW-AP and in Oklahoma as an LMSW. He has served as BSW and MSW Program Director and Associate Professor at Texas A&M University-Commerce and as a faculty member in the social work program at Texas Woman's University. He taught social work for 14 years at both Baccalaureate and Masters levels prior to moving to Oklahoma. He has strong interest in policy issues related to the social work profession at both national and local levels. Other areas of interest include social work licensure, mental health, housing and homelessness, and non-profit administration.
