Courtney is an internationally recognized play therapist specializing in expressive therapies and attachment treatment. Her latest development is a new process of kinesthetic storytelling, merging imagery relaxation skills with joyful first-play touch activities. Her interactive storybook, The Magic Rainbow Hug makes this technique directly accessible to professionals, parents, and the children who can most benefit from its use.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations, and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
