Barry University was recently cited among the best colleges and universities in Florida to offer online degree programs. Affordable Colleges Online (AC Online), an authoritative resource dedicated to online learning and college affordability, published the annual rankings and listed Barry No. 13 of the top 35 schools in the state to offer online degree programs.
To compile the list, AC Online collected and analyzed data from every accredited post-secondary institution in the United States including the number and strength of the schools’ online programs.
Barry is the highest-ranked Catholic university on the list and one of the highest-ranked private universities to make the rankings.
According to AC Online date from 2013, Barry remains one of the top five universities in the state in regards to student return on investment (ROI). ROI looks at the total cost of attending a college and subtracts it from the average lifetime earning of the school’s graduates. According to AC Online, students who graduate from colleges with high ROIs earn more over their lifetimes, on average, than graduates from other Florida institutions.
