What to Bring

Curiosity and a friendly smile! These are the only requirements!
Other items that you could bring:

• Financial Aid paperwork (FAFSA application if not previously completed, and tax returns if requested)
• Medical Forms (for resident students this includes: proof of health insurance, Health Information Form)
• Automobile Registrations (needed to obtain your parking decal)
• Official Transcripts (for transfer students and if not already submitted to admissions)

What Should I Wear?

The weather in South Florida during late June is best described as hot and humid. Please keep in mind that all buildings are air-conditioned, so a light sweater might be necessary for some when indoors.

The following is a list of recommended clothing items:

• T-shirts and Shorts
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Raincoat or umbrella (it is rainy season!)
• Sleepwear
• Clothing for evening entertainment
• Toiletries
