Roland Schiller
Computer Science, Class of 2018
“I cannot thank my professors enough from the Math and Computer Science Department who have recognized my potential early on and advised me to become successful at Barry. I have had the chance to participate in many different kinds of academic research projects and one of them even got published in a reputable academic journal.”
Samantha Britz
Biology, Class of 2020
“The Biology Department at Barry University has been a fundamental stepping stone in my dream of becoming a medical physician. Not only have I been given an excellent class room education, but I have also had the chance to develop skills necessary for my profession. Working closely with Dr. Schoffstall and other biology faculty has taught me the importance of effective collaboration within the scientific community helping me develop both leadership and communication skills.”
Brittany Reynolds
Mathematical Sciences, Class of 2019
“Attending Barry truly has been a blessing to me as it has provided me with one-on-one instruction and small classes other colleges and universities cannot provide. Classes become more like a family over the semesters because we are such a small community of learners and educators. My professors ensure that I learn in a way that suits me and helps me discover my passions.”
Lise-Berthe Laurent
Chemistry, Class of 2022
"Barry’s chemistry program continuously exceeds my expectations. From the easy-to-talk-to faculty to the many lab experiences, the program is interactive and challenging while faculty cooperate with the students. Working closely with the members of the chemistry department has opened opportunities for me such as initiating and presenting my research at the 2020 ACS National Conference online. When I first entered Barry U, I was nowhere near who I am today, which is a scientist in the making."
