Vice President for Student Affairs
The Vice President oversees all the departments in Student Affairs that provide the many opportunities for you to enhance your classroom experiences. We believe that you are active participants in your learning and development and we attempt to empower you to assume responsibility for your college experience so that you might begin to self-author your own transformation into leadership. Recognizing the unique attributes and characteristics of our students, our work in Student Affairs focuses on providing programs and services that integrate students’ needs and interests with the Barry University mission and core commitments.
The Vice President for Student Affairs is the University official charged with coordinating the programs of Student Affairs. Those areas staffed by Student Services professionals are: Campus Ministry, Career Center, Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, Disability Services, Health Services, Housing and Residence Life, Center for Student Involvement, the Office of the Student Union and the Office of the Dean of Students.
