Eleven million undocumented people currently live in the United States with the number growing every day.
The United States is at a crossroads regarding immigration reform. While family members who have lived in the country for decades are being deported, undocumented workers are being hired as the backbone of industries such as agriculture and construction. This hotly debated topic often revolves around issues of border security, economic impact, workplace enforcement, and ethical considerations.
The United States is called a nation of immigrants. Do all deserve a path to citizenship? And if so, what should that look like?
This event is part of the Deliberative Dialogue series, moderated discussions for working towards a common understanding of social issues, identifying practical solutions, and promoting workable public policy.
Free and open to the public.
