Celebrate our graduates at the Rose and Candle ceremony

The Barry University community is invited to the Rose and Candle ceremony.

Date: Friday, May 6, 2016
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Broad Center

The Rose and Candle Ceremony is a traditional ceremony at Barry which attempts to symbolize the bonds of friendship and sending forth of graduates. Graduates exchange a candle, the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, with a Barry underclassman of their choice. In return, graduates receive a rose as a symbol of love and friendship. Graduates should wear academic robes (no hoods or caps). Those serving as roses should wear business dress attire. Guests of the graduates are welcome.

All participants should meet in Thompson Hall Lobby at 6:00 p.m.
