The Wall Street Journal ranks Barry as one of the most diverse universities

Barry University has been ranked by The Wall Street Journal as one of most diverse universities in the United States.

In an article published by the paper on Sept. 28, Barry — along with the University of California at Irvine — are ranked No. 8 for schools with the most diversity. In its article, the Journal states that the 10 schools listed “are leaders in creating the most multicultural learning environments,” and that “they shine when it comes to campus diversity.”

The Wall Street Journal’s rankings looks at several factors when considering a school’s inclusiveness, including: first-time college graduates, Pell Grant recipients, diversity of a school’s students and staff, and the percentage of international students.
