Saint Martha — Yamaha 2016-2017 Concert Series Presents: Grammy nominee Jose Serebrier

2016 Grammy nominee Jose Serebrier — today’s most frequently recorded conductor and composer — conducts the Greater Miami Youth Symphony with director/violinist Huifang Chen. The program includes the Carmen Symphony (Bizet/Serebrier), and composers Marc Satterwhite and Clark McAllister conducting world premieres of their own compositions.

Maestro Serebrier conducts “Lamentations and Hallelujahs,” commissioned by Saint Martha Concerts as the fourth Martha/Mary Meditation — focusing on the resurrection of their brother Lazarus. Both the music and the message will inspire. Commission sponsored by Olga and David Melin. Concert sponsored by Alfred Allan Lewis.
