Barry University’s School of Professional And Career Education (PACE) was recently recognized by the Regional Chamber of East Central Florida as the Better Business of the Month for May. The award was presented at the chamber’s monthly business breakfast.
PACE has been serving the needs of adult learners in Brevard County for nearly 50 years. Barry University’s accelerated bachelor’s and master’s degrees can be taken at their Cape Canaveral or Melbourne campuses and online. A number of academic programs are offered, including Information Technology, Administration and Public Administration.
Actively involved in Brevard County, PACE collaborates with the Junior League of South Brevard, United Way, South Brevard Sharing Center and local churches. They are currently collecting soap and shampoo for homeless shelters. Donations can be dropped off at the Melbourne campus, located at 410 N. Wickham Road, in Melbourne.
The Chamber’s Better Business Council (BBC) encourages high ethical business standards, informs and protects local consumers, and assists businesses that adhere to the sound and fair business principals. BBC members receive priority referrals, are able to market themselves as BBC members and are listed in the Council’s annual Consumer Guide.
