Lunch and Learn: "Freedom to Worship?" Presented by Dr. Sean Foreman

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects the right to freely exercise your religious beliefs. But how does this work in practice and especially when two rights collide? The political and legal aspects of the freedom of religion in American politics will be explored in this interactive discussion on religion and politics.

With the suspension of DACA and TPS, American-raised residents are at risk of being deported to a country they do not know. These are our neighbors, family members, and co-workers who contribute to the greatness of our country. Join us for a march and prayer service, with a panel discussion on immigration as we fight for those most vulnerable in our Miami community.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to the traditional Founders' Week mass and reception which honors the vision and legacy of Mother Mary Gerald Barry, Bishop Patrick Barry, Monsignor William Barry, Mayor John Thompson, and the Adrian Dominican Sisters for whom Barry is a sponsored institution.

Transgender Day of Remembrance Service

Every year on this special day, we are reminded of members of the transgender community who have died as a result of violence against transgender people. Come join us as we come together in prayer for those who have died, and for those who still suffer violence. All are welcome.
