Larry Perez

Larry Perez serves as the Director of the Office of Student Life. Larry supervises all areas involving Student Life which include: Greek and Commuter Affairs, Student Clubs and Organizations, student Marketing, and the Student Government Association. Larry received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration/Counseling from The University of San Diego. Larry has served in multiple Higher Educational leadership roles throughout the United States including Academic Advising, Private Consulting, Housing and Residence Life, Teaching and Student Involvement. Larry started at Barry University in 2016.

Clarence A. Jones (CJ)

Clarence A. Jones (CJ) Coordinator of Student Events & Activities at Barry University Graduate of Bethune Cookman University, Born and raised in the beautiful city of Miami, FL who passion for higher education and student involvement excels life itself. As a recent high school educator teaching theatre performance and television production, my passion of engaging and enhancing the visual and physical experience of students is truly what drives me.

Savrae (Sav) Garnett

Savrae (Sav) Garnett serves as Barry’s new Coordinator of Student Clubs and Organizations. Sav, originally from Paterson, NJ, received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Leadership Development from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. She then traveled to the state of Maryland where she received her Master’s in Post-Secondary Education from Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. Sav enjoys helping students to reach their fullest potential and always reminds them to never settle for less.

Marvin Best

Marvin Best serves as the new Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Life. Born and raised in Norwalk, CT, Marvin is an alumni at Barry University, where he received his bachelors degree in Business Management and is currently working on his MBA with a specialization in finance. In his undergrad years, Marvin Best was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, worked with the department of Campus Recreation and Wellness and contributed as a senator in the Student Government Association. With a passion in leadership, Marvin strives to help others and motivate students to unlock their full potential.
