The Student Advocacy Center serves all students by offering a confidential, informal, and neutral dispute resolution service. The Center advocates for any student of the University that seeks assistance. They are also an advocate for fairness in addition to acting as an agent to provide students with information, advice, intervention, and referrals to ensure that all students of the University community receive fair and equitable treatment. The rights and interests of all students are considered with the goal of achieving fair outcomes. The Student Advocacy Center supplements but does not replace policies and procedures of the University and its constituent units. The Center operates in an assistance and advisory capacity and relies on the cooperation and good will of faculty, staff, and the administration of the University.
