Steffano Montano, MAPT
Adjunct Instructor of Theology
Steffano Montano, MAPT, is the Coordinator of Service Learning and an Instructor of Theology in the Department of Theology and Philosophy. Montano has served at Barry since 2009, beginning in the Office of Campus Ministry, where he served as Coordinator of the De Porres Center for Community Service. He has coordinated the Service-Learning goals and partnerships of the department since 2013, which include maintaining community partnerships that enable students to take part in service-learning and leading workshops with the department faculty on service-learning pedagogy.
Montano’s other responsibilities include teaching Theology: Faith, Beliefs and Traditions (THE 201) in Barry’s undergraduate division.
Montano earned a BA in Political Science from Florida International University and he also earned the MA in Practical Theology from Barry University.
