Gladys Amador (305)899-4919 Miami Shores, Fla. – Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine’s MEDexpress Newsletter was named a “Gold Award” winner by the Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report. MEDexpress received the award for “best in the nation for schools and universities with 5,000-9,999 students.” The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, more than 2,500 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. MEDexpress has been published at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine for 10 years. The efforts of co-editors, Bob McKinlay and Rena Kizilisik and art director, Marty Hamilton are seen by a circulation of 5,000 readers including alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the school.
