Barry University to host ‘Sex Signals’ show for over 150 students Tuesday, Sept. 4

Miami Shores – “Sex Signals,” an interactive and improvisational show exploring college relationships and sexual assault, will appear at Barry University Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Over 150 students, including all student athletes, are excepted to attend the event, which was nominated as a program for “Speaker of the Year” by Campus Activities magazine in both 2003 and 2006.

The two-person show uses improvisational comedy, education and audience interaction to increase dialogue on gender issues, date rape and sexual stereotypes. The show has been performed over 1,000 times at over 400 schools throughout the country since it began in 2000.

Barry’s University’s Student Affairs programming committee and Division of Athletics have collaborated to host this event. The show will take place in the Broad Auditorium at Barry’s main campus in Miami Shores.
