Reverse Career Fair at Barry University to host student showcase for employers

On Thursday, Nov. 5, Career Services at Barry University will be hosting its annual Reverse Career Fair as part of National Career Development Month. The event will be held midday in the Events Room of Barry’s Landon Student Union on the Miami Shores campus.
The fair, sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will feature student clubs, organizations and honor societies that will be showcasing their community service, leadership and other programs. Registered employers are invited to walk the room and speak to student leaders, who will have the opportunity to network with different companies by highlighting their skills, abilities and involvement with featured student groups.
About 40 representatives from 25 registered companies are expected to participate in this event, including representatives from Radio Disney, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, THELAR Advertising, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Prudential Financial Inc., TerreMark Worldwide Inc. and Ryder System Inc.
