History

• The Barry University WeatherNet Station began in Fall 2003...the project was conceptualized by the Barry University Identity and Branding Taskforce.
• The Taskforce created an interaction between the educational component provided by AWS WeatherNet and the media component provided by NBC-6.
• Mr. Terry Kushi (Barry DoIT) installed the station in its roof-top location above Garner Hall in late-October 2003.
• Terry next installed the computer hardware and software to get the station up and running.
• Following routine de-bugging and testing, Terry had the weather data streaming smoothly into the nbc6.net. website by early-November 2003.
