Barry University is pleased to offer Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for our Primary Insurance plan for the 2013/2014 policy year. This plan fully meets the federal mandates of the Patient Protection Act.

The covered period is August 4, 2013 through August 3, 2014. Student will have the ability to enroll on a per semester basis through their My Barry account beginning June 1, 2013. The fee for the insurance will be deferred to their student accounts. Student’s receiving financial aid may use those funds to pay for the insurance.
Students wishing to pay for the plan on an annual basis or are interested in spouse or dependent coverage please go to www.AIS.com/Barry. You will need to place the premium on your credit card if you enroll directly with AIS Insurance.
Please keep in mind that students enrolled in certain academic programs, student living in any campus provided housing and student studying at Barry University on an F1 or J1 Visa are required to provide proof of adequate insurance by hard waiver on an annual basis on their MY Barry Account beginning June 1, 2013. Failure to complete the waiver prior to August 28, 2013 will result in an automatically billing for one semester of the student insurance.
