Barry University Honors 45 Retirees

Barry University Honors 45 Retirees

On May 1, 2013, Barry University celebrated the 45 Faculty and Staff members who have chosen to participate in the Voluntary Separation Incentive Retirement Program (VSIRP).

The retirement celebration festivities began with a Mass at Cor Jesu Chapel in honor of Sister Paul James Villemure, recognizing over 50 years of employment with Barry University. Immediately following Mass, retirees and their guests were invited to a reception in the Sports and Health Sciences Center Gymnasium.

Each retiree was presented with a beautiful customized book, which included a photographic history of Barry University, a letter from Barry University President Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD, and a personalized collection of photos and letters submitted by friends, family and colleagues.

Please join the Barry University Alumni Association in thanking our retirees for playing a part in making Barry a special community in which we all can “learn, reflect and serve.”

All the best to them as they begin their next adventure.
