June 13, 2013 – Barry University’s Andreas School of Business is pleased to announce the formation of the MBA Alumni Chapter. This program is being offered to all Barry MBA graduates in order to provide opportunities for networking, professional development and to connect with and mentor current MBA students. Ultimately, this chapter hopes to continue to enhance the image of the Andreas School of Business within the community.
At the inaugural reception, held in the Barry University Gato Gallery on June 13, 2013, nearly 30 Barry MBA graduates attended to learn more about this exciting new program. Dean Tomislav Mandakovic, PhD, gave an update on the Andreas School of Business and encouraged MBA alumni to get involved in the formation of this new chapter. A lively discussion followed, and the group committed to officially forming and growing this chapter. Networking and refreshments followed, with many valuable connections made by all attendees.
On Thursday, September 12, 2013, the MBA Alumni Chapter will reconvene at Barry University to elect officers and begin the process of setting goals and planning events for the coming year.
