Remembering Sister Audrey Hull

ADRIAN, MICHIGAN—August 29, 2016—Sister Audrey Hull, formerly known as Sister Raymond Clare Hull, died on August 28, 2016 at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan. She was 93 years of age and in the 68th year of her religious profession in the Adrian Dominican Congregation.

Sister Audrey was born in Miami, Florida to Perry and Helen (Porter) Hull. She graduated from Palm Beach High School in West Palm Beach, Florida, and received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Barry College (University) in Miami Shores, Florida, and a master of arts degree in education from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Sister also was a licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida.

Sister spent 27 years ministering in education in Oak Park, Illinois; Detroit and St. Joseph, Michigan; Jacksonville, Fort Pierce, and West Palm Beach, Florida; and Guayama, Puerto Rico. Sister was a high school teacher for 13 years at Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was a Dietitian Consultant for 15 years for the Health Care Facilities in West Palm Beach, Florida. Sister became a resident of the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan, in 2010.

Sister Audrey is survived by loving nephews.

Visitation is on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6:15 to 7:00 pm in the Rose Room of the Dominican Life Center followed by Vigil Prayer at 7:00 pm in St. Catherine Chapel. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered in St. Catherine Chapel on Thursday, September 1 at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Congregation cemetery.
