Feast of the Annunciation

Feast of the Annunciation

Celebrate the Eucharist for the Feast of the Annunciation by attending a special mass dedicated to the occasion. The Feast of the Annunciation celebrates the Incarnation or the coming of redemption by the conception of Jesus by the Holy Spirit in Mary’s womb.

Date: Tuesday, March 25
Time: 12:05 pm
Location: Cor Jesu Chapel

The Christian belief is that God became human in order to redeem humanity.  The term Incarnation refers to God taking human flesh.  The feast is as old as the 5th century CE and the story is recorded in the Scriptures in the Gospel of Luke 1: 26-38.
