Heidi Aleman-Ortega, DNP, CRNA has been published in the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) February 2017 issue for her article titled, “Neuraxial Anesthesia and the Use of Sterile Gowning.” The AORN Journal features the latest in evidence-based, clinical best practices for perioperative nursing.
Aleman-Ortega earned her DNP with a specialization in anesthesiology from Barry University in July 2016. She practices clinically in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
