Barry alumna Dr. Stephanie Lera published in Open Journal of Anesthesiology

Barry University alumna Dr. Stephanie Lera (’11, ’17), DNP, CRNA, has been published in the latest issue of the Open Journal of Anesthesiology (Vol.7 No.8 2017) for her manuscript titled "A Safer Technique for Nasal Intubation: A Literature Review." The full article can be accessed here.

Lera's advisors on this manuscript were Melissa Machan, DNP, CRNA, and George Derefaka, DNP, CRNA.

Lera earned two degrees from Barry University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences — a Master of Science in Anesthesiology in 2011 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Specialization in Anesthesiology in 2017. She works clinically as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in South Florida.
