Senior Exhibition

The Senior Exhibition will be showcasing work of seven graduating photography and graphic design students. Each student will exhibit a body of art they have been working on throughout the semester displaying their own unique style.

Joanna Acosta: will be exhibiting a close and personal photographic look at La Bretagne, France through the eyes of a young artist who grew up visiting her family and friends there.

Iris Arellano: will be showing her graphic design skills as she creates text into illustrated portraits of her family and loved ones; the words portraying the characteristics of each person's individuality and what makes them who they are.

Krystin Carby: will be showing work on the beauty in the landscapes of Florida’s wild Everglades. The images will show the viewers what this unique land has to offer visitors and locals of Florida.

Diego Gomez: will be re-designing some of his favorite movie posters in a variety of graphic design historical period styles.

Alexis M. Mederos: will be showing work on the existence of human life without human life.  Her images will show the personal details of the family home where she grew up and the influences from her Cuban heritage.

Rebecca Simpson: will be using portraits to reinterpret the Chinese Zodiac using the characteristics of the twelve animals. 

CheWayne Symoane: will exhibit work on the controversial subject of colorism and her own personal views while growing up as an African American woman, the color of one's skin, and the values people put on them.
