MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's NCAA Division II National Champion men's golf team released its schedule for the 2013-14 season.

The Buccaneers, who've won two national titles in a six-year span, will open the season Sept. 16-17 at the Brickyard Invitational in Indianapolis -- site of their season-opening tournament title a year ago. Barry will participate in four fall events this year, including the Otter Invitational in Monterrey, Calif., on Oct. 21-22.

When the Bucs resume in the spring season, they tee off at the Matlock Collegiate Classic in Lakeland, Fla., Feb. 10-11. Back-to-back trips to Georgia remain a constant for the Buccaneers in March when they compete in three events on successive weeks. The first of those three is the St. Edward's Invitational at Grey Rock Golf Club in Austin, Texas, where Barry has had its share of success.

Barry will host the Buccaneer Invitational Mar. 31-Apr. 1 at Normandy Shores Golf Club in Miami Beach. Prior to last year, the Bucs had won five straight Buccaneer Invitational events.

The defending Sunshine State Conference champs will defend their league title at the SSC Championships Apr. 14-15.

The NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional, for which the Buccaneers must qualify for, will be held May 5-7 in Savannah, Ga. Three weeks later, should the Bucs keep their string of NCAA Championship appearances in tact, Barry will aim to defend its national title at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Mich., May 19-23.
