WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Barry sophomore Adam Svensson (Surrey Vancouver, B.C./Earl Marriott HS) has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Men's Golfer of the Week presented by VALIC.

It is the second time this spring Svensson has claimed the league's weekly award. 

Svensson won his fourth tournament of the 2013-14 season, matching a school career victories set by Daniel Stapff. The No. 1-ranked NCAA Division II golfer finished the St. Edward's Invitational with a 10-under-par score of 134. Svensson shot a first-round 69 and a second-round 65. He led No. 1 Barry to a first place team finish.
