NEW YORK -- Barry University women's golf team is ranked No. 7 in the Golf World/Women's Golf Coaches Association poll released this week.

The Buccaneers, coming off a sixth place finish at the Lady Moc Golf Classic in Lakeland Monday and Tuesday, received 320 points in the poll. The Buccaneers fell two spots after they were ranked tied for fourth last year.

Nova Southeastern remains No. 1, receiving 16 of the possible 17 first place votes. Lynn, which is tied for fourth, received the other first place vote. Rollins is No. 2, followed by St. Edward's. 

The Buccaneers will play in the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational in Winter Springs, Fla., Monday and Tuesday.
