Women's Golf Ranked 6th in Nation

NEW YORK -- Barry University women's golf team is ranked No. 6 in the most recent Golf World/Women's Golf Coaches Association national poll.

The Buccaneers moved up one spot, having been ranked No. 7 in the last poll.

Nova Southeastern received all 17 first-place votes to remain No. 1. Lynn moved up from No. 3 to No. 2, while St. Edward's fell one spot to No. 3. Tarleton State vaulted two spots from No. 6 to No. 4, and Rollins slipped from No. 4 to No. 5.

With Florida Southern ranked No. 7 and Florida Tech No. 9, six Sunshine State Conference schools are represented in the top-10. Fellow SSC member Saint Leo is No. 15.

Barry will compete in the the United States Women's Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C., in the final regular season tournament.
