MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - #16 Barry University loss 6-3 to # 3 Valdosta State late Monday afternoon. Senior Ildiko Csordas played a role in two of the Buccaneer victories, including a 6-1, 6-3 victory over #8 Dominique Rothlaende. In doubles, Csordas paired with freshman Caroline Steven en route to a 8-4 win over Rothlander and Tina Trautmann at #1 doubles.
Freshman Angie Werschel picked up the other Buccaneer victory at #3 singles, defeating Trautmann 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
The Buccaneers return to action on February 20th for a 3:00 pm match against the Sailfish of Palm Beach Atlantic in West Palm Beach.
