MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Amber Jack (11-5) tossed her first career perfect game, striking out 11, to lead the Barry Buccaneers to a 3-0 win in the opening game of a Sunshine State Conference series against Eckerd at Buccaneer Field on Friday night.

Jack, who also tied four other pitchers for second place with her fifth career no-hitter, set down all 21 Tritons.

Shyla Rider went four-for-four, scoring the first run of the contest in the third inning and driving in the other two. Sara Hipson scored twice.

The teams will conclude the series on Saturday, starting at 1:00 pm.
