MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The Barry University men’s tennis team blanked the Northwood Seahawks on Wednesday afternoon, winning 9-0.
In doubles action, Barry earned three points off of three 8-0 wins. Roman Werschel and Sergio Velez won in the number spot, Marcello D’Armas and Andrew Sharnov took the number two spot, and Max Wimmer and David Barrigan took the number three spot.
The Bucs (18-2) had little difficulties in singles either, taking all six points. Wimmer, Sharnov, Werschel, Velez, D’Armas, and Barrigan won in spots one through six, giving a total of one game to the Seahawks.
The Buccaneers return to action on Monday, April 6 against St. Thomas at home at 3:00 pm.
