BOCA RATON, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers pulled out a 3-2 double-overtime win over the Webber Warriors at the Embassy Suites Classic at Lynn University’s McCusker Sports Complex on Sunday.

Mark Anderson scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime, and Houghton Kinsman added his first career goal for the Bucs (3-2-1). Joseph Johnson and Osvaldo Ayra Soto each had one goal for Webber (1-2-0).

Anderson got the Bucs on the board in the eighth minute. The Warriors were whistled for a foul just outside the penalty box and Anderson bent the free kick in past a diving effort by WIU keeper Andres Zwaans.

The Warriors answered back in the 37th minute. Alan Percival flipped a pass up to Joseph Johnson, who had just entered the game, and Johnson took advantage of a screen on Barry keeper Daniel Walsh to slot a shot into the far post.

In the 64th minute, the Buccaneer reserves put a goal on the board. Sacsha Koettig found Ryan Alexander on the left wing and Alexander’s cross found Kinsman alone near the penalty stripe. Kinsman played the ball on first touch past Zwaans for a 2-1 lead.

Both teams went down a man over the next seven minutes as Barry’s Rodrigo Mancinedo and Webber’s Djems Lima were issued red cards.

The Warriors took advantage of the open field to score the equalizer in the 85th minute. Percival again lofted a cross into the box and Soto headed it past Walsh.

In the overtime, Walsh, who had been shaken up earlier in the game, went down after being kicked in the shin by Andres Acosta on a challenge in the box and had to come out. Jony Rodriguez replaced him in goal and picked up the win when Anderson found the back of the net in the second overtime period with an assist by Randy Taylor.

Walsh and Rodriguez each had one save for Barry, while Zwaans made nine stops for Webber.

The Bucs open Sunshine State Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:00 pm as they host the Eckerd Tritons at Buccaneer Field.
