Millerdgeville, Ga.— The Barry University women’s soccer team dropped a 2-1overtime loss to Georgia College on Sunday Afternoon.
 
The Bucs (2-5, 0-0 SSC) struck first 16 minutes into the game when Brianni Lorenzo delivered a pass to Sarah Wolfer who beat the goalie one on one.
 
The Bobcats (4-3-1) tied it up eight minutes later when Lyric Burnett slipped one past Sami Cromartie.
 
The second half was scoreless forcing the Bobcats and Buccaneers into an overtime situation.
 
In overtime, Georgia College’s Jamie Colcord scored the game winner after rebounding a Jamie Nevin pealty kick at the 93 minute mark.
 
Cromartie had 10 saves for the Bucs while Mary Rob Plunkett had four.
 
The Bucs return to action at home on Friday, September 25 against West Florida at 7:00 pm.
