Women's Soccer Drops Non-Conference Tilt To Knights

MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers dropped a 3-0 non-conference decision to the Lynn Fighting Knights at Buccaneer Field on Tuesday night. The Bucs dropped to 2-7-0 on the season.
 
The Knights (6-4-0) scored one in the first half off the foot of Brittany Evernden, and two in the second with Melissa Ortiz and Alison Ramsey connecting.
 
Shots were nearly even at 9-8 for Lynn, but the Knights put seven on goal to only three for the Bucs.
 
Natalie Feller came in for the last 49:68 for Lynn when starting keeper Kelsey Butler was injured and made three saves to preserve the shutout. Sami Cromartie had four saves for the Bucs.
 
Barry travels to Lakeland, Fla., to face the Florida Southern Lady Mocs on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7:00 pm.
