WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.— The Barry University men’s soccer team picked up a regional win on Wednesday evening, beating Palm Beach Atlantic (4-2-1) 2-0.
Both of the Buccaneer goals came in the first period. Sixteen minutes into the game, Kendall Sealy struck when he and Mark Anderson had a two-on-one opportunity against Sailfish keeper Joe Yurchak. Sealy slid the ball between Yurchak’s legs.
Twenty-six minutes into the first period, the Bucs (5-4-1) struck again when Andres Perez took a corner kick. Sealy flipped it to Joao Garcia, who flicked it in.
The second period was quiet, as neither team scored.
The Bucs return to action on Saturday, October 3 at Florida Southern at 4:30 pm.
