LAKELAND, Fla.—The Barry University men’s basketball dropped their second game of the season to Florida Southern on Saturday night. The Bucs lost 104-74 on the road.
The Mocs scored the first seven points of the game, before Tony Dennison hit a jumper. The closest the Bucs would get is three points multiple times. Barry entered halftime down 52-27.
In the second half, the Mocs continued their strong play, extending their lead to 35 with 16:10 remaining in the game. The Bucs would go on to lose 104-74.
For the Buccaneers, Dennison had 17 points. Willie Whitfield and Erick Nsangou had 11 apiece.
The Bucs return to action at home on Wednesday, February 3 at 7:30 pm against Eckerd.
