MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers dropped a 71-54 decision to the Eckerd Tritons in Sunshine State Conference men’s basketball action in the Health & Sports Center on Wednesday.
The Bucs (13-7, 5-5 SSC) trailed 35-24 at the half and dropped back by as many as 20 in the second period. Tony Dennison led the Bucs with 26 points, while Erick Nsangou added 10.
Zaronn Cann led a balanced attack for the Tritons (12-7, 5-4 SSC) with 18 points. John Harper had 13 and Wayne Sears added 10.
The Bucs host the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 4:00 pm.
