The Bucs (6-1, 3-0 SSC) got out to a 9-7 lead in the early part of set one. Barry took seven of the next eight points to push the lead to 16-8. Julia Teixeira and Lovisa Johansson had kills in the run while Teixeira added an ace. Barry moved out to a 22-14 lead before Lynn took five of six points to cut the lead to 23-19. Yet two Barry kills, one by Ady Alcantara and one by Lanie Muys, gave the Bucs the 25-19 win.

In set two the teams were evenly matches through 7-7 before Lynn took an 11-9 lead. Barry took three of the next four points with the help of two Alcantara kills to tie it at 12-12. Neither team was able to gain more than a one point lead through 20-20 until the Bucs took five straight to end the game. Two Melina Bukinac service aces and kills by Stefanie Sveiven and Libby Walter helped the Bucs to the 25-20 win.

In the third and final set, Barry took the lead at 8-7 and never looked back. The Bucs held a 20-15 lead before Lynn fought back and got close at 23-21. However the Bucs proved too much in the end and took the final two points they needed off a Walter Kill and a Knight hitting error.
