MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's tennis picked up its second win of the day Friday, beating Palm Beach Atlantic, 8-1, at Buccaneer Tennis Center.

The No. 2 Buccaneers (6-1) beat St. Thomas earlier in the day.

Barry's Marco Mokrzycki and Fabian Groetsch outlasted Mick Lyons and Eric Wade, 8-6, at No. 1 doubles. Ollie Lemaitre and  Romain Costamagna beat Luke Bolanos and Giuseppe Guarnieri, 8-3, at No. 2 pairs. Kevin Sielmann and Leo Vivas blanked Nick Hines and Jaime Verd, 8-0, at No. 3 as the Buccaneers swept the doubles matches.

In singles, Costamagna defeated Lyons, 6-1, 6-2, at the top spot. Lemaitre endured a 7-5, 7-5 challenge from Bolanos at the No. 2 flight. Sielmann beat Guarnieri, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 3. Vivas rolled by Wade, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 4. Juan Martin blanked Hines, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 5.

Verd beat Dominic Bisceglia, 6-4, 7-5, for PBA's lone win at No. 6 singles.
