MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University women's basketball team bowed out in the quarterfinals of the Sunshine State Conference tournament Wednesday, losing 71-68 to Florida Tech.
Barry, the No. 7 seed in the South Region, will wait until the final regional pairings come out to determine whether it will get a berth to the NCAA Division II national tournament. The top eight teams in each region qualify. Florida Tech was the eighth seed entering the game.
