VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Barry finished off an impressive weekend in the Peach state on a weekend where cold climates were more apt to bear icicles than fruit, beating Clayton State, 5-0, Sunday.

It marked Barry's second win over a ranked opponent this weekend. The Buccaneers (10-0) beat the likes of 10th West Florida, Valdosta State and 50th-ranked Clayton State this weekend.

Sunday, the Bucs used three solid doubles wins and two even more impressive singles victories to seal the deal. Emma Onila and Elisabeth Abanda beat Hannah Keeling and Ivana Krommelova, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles. Linda Fritschken and Kimmy Twelker were 8-4 winners over Jessica Budd and Martina Dedaj at No. 2. Karina Goia and Isabela Miro also won 8-4 at No. 3, beating the likes of Zinnia Leamana and Raluca Pavel.

Twelker won 6-2, 6-0 over Leamana at No. 3 singles, while Miro defeated Charlotte Fabricious, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 6.

Barry now enters phase two of this six-match stretch in two states as it prepares for a trip to Texas, where the Buccaneers will play three matches beginning with Wednesday's 12 p.m. date against Abilene Christian.
