MONTGOMERY, Ala.—The Barry Buccaneers made it two in a row over the Tuskegee Tigers in baseball action from Paterson Field in Montgomery, Ala. The Bucs (7-2) won 11-5 behind a strong team offensive performance.

The Bucs jumped out in front early again, scoring five runs in the third inning. After a one-out double by Sheehan Planas-Arteaga, Tuskegee starter Tevin Worthy (0-2) walked three straight to force him in, then hit Ramon Valdez to plate another run. Will Walker delivered an RBI single and Mike Diaz walked to force in another run and chase Worthy.

After giving up a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the third, Planas-Arteaga reached on a pair of errors by Tiger second baseman Brandon Mapp and scored on a single by Branden Shaw.

Barry added two more in the fifth. Walker and Diaz were both hit by Tiger reliever Stanley Smith to lead off the inning. Walker scored from second on a ground out by JC Cardenas and Planas-Arteaga singled to drive in Diaz.

After Tuskegee (2-3) cut the lead to 8-5 in the fifth, the Bucs put up three more in the sixth. Luis Rios-Reyes stroked a one-out double and Valdez drew a walk. Walker followed with a single to drive in Rios-Reyes. After a single by Diaz loaded the bases, Carlos Matamoros lined a single to center to score Valdez and Walker scored on a fly ball by Cardenas.
