Nkomo Tabbed Women's Soccer SSC Offensive Player Of The Week

WINTER PARK, Fla. – For the fourth consecutive week a Barry University women’s soccer player has earned Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week Honors.

Barry sophomore M Lavinia Nkomo scored two goals, including the game-winner, and assisted on a third goal to lead the Buccaneers to a 4-0 victory over Eckerd.

The win secured Barry the 2013 SSC regular-season title, first since 2004, and the No. 1 seed at the SSC Championship. It is the second time this season that Nkomo has been tabbed Offensive Player of the Week.
