DECATUR, Ala.—The final day of the UAH Charger Chillout was pre-empted for the Barry Buccaneers due to a catenation of events, forcing the Bucs to cancel both games on Sunday.
The tournament directors cancelled all early games due to sub-freezing temperatures, wiping out the West Georgia game scheduled for 9:00 am Central.
Problems with the return flight caused the Bucs to have to leave early or face an extra night in Alabama, which blanked out the late game with Lander.
The Bucs return to action next weekend with a crossover series against Fort Valley State in Winter Park, Fla., on Saturday and a pair of games at the Saint Leo Tournament on Sunday.
